Bishop Paul S. Morton @ GMWA/GAG Press Conference

...Katrina...

From... The Belle Report

Now we are getting reports that Bishop Paul Morton’s church, Greater Saint Stephens Full Gospel Baptist Church, Beacon Light Cathedral and Life Center Cathedral and many other church locations are all under water or are have major flooding problems.
To that end, Pastor Jerry Q. Parries, Max Siegel, Sheilah Belle, Gospel Today Magazine, The Belle Report and Verity Records are initiating efforts for our communities to pull together to help our brothers and sisters in the south. Our hope is to have gospel announcers, artists and churches host, fund raisers or benefits for this relief effort in their city.
All monies will be sent to Bishop Paul S. Morton to be distributed to the church communities and those in need in these locations.
For additional information call; Pastor Jerry Q. Parries at (504) 382-7598
Or e-mail us at JerryQii@yahoo.com

Look for more information, coming soon.

Contact Persons for area host cities already include:
Atlanta, GA: Darryl Lassister, DLL Entertainment
Orlando, FL: Pastor Jerry Q Parries, Christian Family Worship Center

Gospel Truth Magazine (GTM) corporated sponsors of the GMWA/GAG 2005 Annual Convention.

GTM started in 1998. Today, GTM has grown into the largest publication of its kind reaching over 200,000 readers bi-monthly.

Through an agreement with Gospel Truth Magazine's (GTM) distributor, Gospel Truth Magazine beginning May 5, 2005 will expand it's current distribution from 400 to 1,800 Wal-Mart stores. Each store was carefully selected based upon a history of significant sales of Gospel Music and other urban based publications such as Vibe and Source Magazines. This expansion translates to an additional 100,000+ issues of GTM available to Wal-mart shoppers.

A comprehensive marketing and promotion plan has been put into place to ensure sell-through of the 100,000+ additional copies of GTM. The first being a ½ pallet display program with the capacity to hold 186 magazines will be executed in 386 Wal-marts with the highest propensity to reach the most African American customers.

Virginia was well represented at the GMWA Annual Convention. Our own Earl Bynum won the GMWA/GAG Horizon Award. The Horizon Award is given to an on-air announcer who has been on radio for more than five years. He has also gone beyond the call of duty and is truly deserving of this award.
